PROPOSED ITINERARY

  • Day 1 Arrive in Hanoi - Half Day City Tour

    Arrive at Hanoi airport, welcome by our representative and transfer to your hotel. Check in to the hotel and later proceed to see the Signature Sights in Style. Hanoi enjoys a rich Imperial history dating back over a millennium, and a surprising diversity of local ethnic groups weave the fabric of the city’s rich tapestry. Start your day on the outskirts of the city with your private driver and English-speaking guide by visiting the Museum of Ethnology. The museum provides an insightful glimpse into the country’s lengthy history, with more than 15,000 photos and 10,000 objects and artifacts depicting a historical perspective of the lives, activities, customs, and habits of the 54 recognized ethnic groups of Vietnam. Drive back into central Hanoi to the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius. From here, continue to Bun Cha Huong Lien, the famous local spot where President Barack Obama dined with Anthony Bourdain. Return back to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay in Hanoi.

  • Day 2 Hanoi - Onboard cruise in Ha Long Bay

    This morning check out and transfer to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km or 3.5-hour drive away. On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. Be welcomed onboard, in the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board. Overnight on cruises in Ha Long Bay.

  • Day 3 Ha long - Hanoi

    Today enjoy the fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Ha Long in the morning and breakfast is served, while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi late in the afternoon. End your day at a by walking through the iconic Old Quarter. The streets of this district are bustling with scooters, bicycles, cyclos, and cars zipping around pedestrians. The best way to enjoy the charming colonial architecture is to wander with your guide at a leisurely pace and be sure to stop for a cup of Vietnamese coffee or a local snack from one of the many tantalizing street vendors. Your guide and private driver will accompany you back to your hotel, or if you prefer to enjoy dinner at your pace in the Old Quarter and soak up the atmosphere, you can make your own way back to your hotel at your leisure. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

  • Day 4 Hanoi - Departure

    After breakfast it’s time to check out. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or back home.
