PROPOSED ITINERARY

  • Day 1 Arrive in Baku

    Welcome to Baku, the capital and commercial hub of Azerbaijan, is a low-lying city with coastline along the Caspian Sea. Arrive at the airport and get transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Baku.

  • Day 2 Baku - City Tour

    After Breakfast at the hotel, you'll begin your tour with a visit to Baku's Old City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower. Next, you'll explore Nizami Street, a lively shopping area with a rich history. Then, you'll visit Fountains Square, a popular gathering spot featuring numerous fountains from the Soviet era. The day concludes with a stop at the Heydar Aliyev Center, a marvel of modern architecture designed by ZahaHadid, where you'll have a photo opportunity outside. You'll return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.

  • Day 3 Baku - Gabala

    After Enjoying Breakfast at the hotel, you'll check out and begin your transfer to Gabala. En route, you'll visit Nohur Lake, a picturesque spot nestled deeper into the mountains of the Gabala region, offering stunning views. Following your visit to the lake, you'll proceed to your accommodation in Gabala. Overnight stay in Gabala.

  • Day 4 Gabala

    This morning after Breakfast, start your day heading out to explore Gabala. Your first stop will be the Tufandaq Winter-Summer Tourism Complex, where you can enjoy cable car rides year-round, ski on various difficulty-level tracks, receive ski training, and take advantage of the on-site cafes, restaurants, and entertainment centers for kids. Next, visit the YeddiGozel (Seven Beauties) Waterfalls, a popular tourist destination located 6 kilometers from Vandam village. This seven-step waterfall is formed by water cascading from various ravines. While only two small waterfalls are visible from below, climbing the stairs to see the other five is well worth the effort for the stunning views. The area also features a restaurant and a tea house, and the dense forest ensures a cool, shaded environment. After a day of sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Gabala.

  • Day 5 Gabala Tour – Baku

    Begin your day with Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. You'll then transfer back to Baku and embark on a tour of Gobustan. This area is renowned for its ancient rock petroglyphs, which date back to the 8th millennium BC and include thousands of engravings depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations, and animals. The oldest petroglyphs are from the 12th century BC. In 2007, Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring Gobustan, you will visit the nearby mud volcanoes, a unique natural phenomenon. At the end of the day, you will return to Baku for an overnight stay.

  • Day 6 Baku - Absheron Tour

    This morning after Breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a tour of the Absheron Peninsula. Your first stop will be Ateshgah, the Fire Worshippers Temple. This historic site, with Persian and Indian inscriptions, served as a place of worship for Hindus and Zoroastrians. The temple, constructed in the 17th and 18th centuries, features a pentagonal complex with a central tetra-pillar altar and surrounding monk cells. Next, you'll visit Yanardag, or "Fire Mountain," located 25 km north of Baku. Known for its natural gas fire that blazes continuously, Yanardag offers a spectacular display of flames dancing on the hillside, earning Azerbaijan its nickname, the "Land of Fire." After the tour, you'll return to Baku for an overnight stay.

  • Day 7 Baku - Departure

    After Breakfast it’s time to check out. Transfer to the airport for your onward Flight or back home.
